Interactive Indoor Maps

If you’ve ever looked into wayfinding or attempted to design a map of any sort, you know that it’s no mean feat. Creating an interactive, easy-to-update version in a space that constantly changes it's walls was only part of the battle.

As a neccessity for the NGV Guide redesign, we needed to design, from scratch, accurate, to-scale maps that the beacons could utilise. Across two buildings with artwork in crevices big and small, we designed and developed an interactive map system for the guide that was both visually pleasing, useful and scalable from a small size.

I feel so lucky to have been afforded the opportunities to be inspired by the artists, designers and developers that make crazy and beautiful things with code. I'm passionate about building these communities locally.
