The Pioneers of Computer Science

Visualising achievement

The Pioneers of Computer Science is an interactive visualisation of the minds behind some of our greatest milestones in technology.

Starting as a personal research topic whilst travelling, developer Andrew Buntine decided to collect and present data on pioneers that he admired. Transforming into a full blown database of the "who" and "when" for TOO many topics in the field, I helped with the design of the site however, full credit goes to Andrew on the enormous effort in hand collecting and presenting the data.

I feel so lucky to have been afforded the opportunities to be inspired by the artists, designers and developers that make crazy and beautiful things with code. I'm passionate about building these communities locally.
