As part of a larger body of work that is exploring the emotive potential of sound and space within the museum, we produced an audio experience for the exhibition Masters of Modern Art from the Hermitage.
Restrictions around image copyrighting had us leaning more heavily on the exhibition branding which featured colours extracted from the artwork’s themselves.
We decided to amplify the bold colour choices and type-based branding within our audio guide with a text-based interface playing with programmatic gradients to react to a new room being entered.
