Part of a larger body of research into the accessibility of sport, the AKQA R&D team have partnered with Monash University to explore the possibility of sonifying live tennis.
Our intention is to one day be able to provide an alternative audio track that is available to the estimated 2.2 billion people living with a vision impairment. We have big plans for not only tennis but to provide this service to as many sports as we can.
We are currently in the preliminary testing phase and looking for participants with an interest in sports that are living with a vision impairment to try it out. If you or someone you know would like to find out more, please contact me directly and I can send you the full details.
